So, how will you explain 2020 to your kids one day? Or let's say you already have kids, how are you breaking down this entire catastrophe of a year for them? Is catastrophe too harsh a term to use? No doubt there's a silver lining somewhere, but I'm pretty sure we're all going to need some counselling to deal with everything that's come our way this year. Until then, here are some night shots from a walkabout that I did with @nicolasduchem1 in Shibuya, Tokyo.
I've already posted quite a few shots from Tokyo on my feed, but these are the ones that didn't quite make the cut. As I've done with most of the photo-sets I post here, I've made a video about this (surprise, hah). An entire 30-minute video at that, just walking through Shibuya and taking pictures. Looking back on that type of content really makes me happy – even though I may not visit Japan for years to come, having those enduring memories in video and photo format places me in the thick of the action and transports me to a different reality. A far different reality from the catastrophe that is 2020.
