Hội An, Ancient Town.
This is one of those places that is just as awe-inspiring in the flesh as it is in pictures, or online. To the east you've got An Bang beach – a pristine stretch of coastline and the perfect place to kick back with a cold one. Between the beach and the town you've got rice paddies that go on for acres, and in Ancient Town itself you've got the lanterns strung above the trees, the faded yellow facades of the historical buildings. The best part? The thousands of brand-name backpacks that you can pick up for a steal. 😂
Would I call Hoi An a tourist trap? Sure, there definitely are aspects of it that cater to tourists. But that doesn’t detract from the experience of the location itself. It’s still a one-of-a-kind place that you won’t tire of easily.
