Reminiscing on a rainy outing to Nara Park in Japan where the (in)famous bowing deer roam free.
Typhoon Hagibis had just passed and the weather was gloomy, but I couldn't pass up a chance to see this attraction. As for the deer, they might seem docile at first glance, but make no mistake – as soon as they get a sniff of those crackers they're all over you like white on rice. 🦌
