The Imperial Citadel of Huế in Vietnam is a sprawling historical fortress with various buildings, ruins, and pagodas. The oldest ruins here belong to the Kingdom of Lam Ap, dating back to the 4th century AD.
It's places like these that get my imagination going, and I often think about what they would have looked like in their previous incarnation.
