BAD | X | BRAAMFIE

SOOC JPEG image sets shot using Fujifilm film simulations.

Braamfie Runners have been around for five years (as of December 2017), which makes them the longest-running run crew in South Africa.
I've only been with the crew for about a year and a half, and in my time with them, have come to form bonds with some amazing people, many of whom I would not have met had it not been for running.
Crews are like a family, and as with any family, there will be strife, there will be conflict, but moreover, there's understanding.
Considering the amount of time I spend with my Braamfie Runners family not just on the road, but also shooting them, I thought it only fitting to showcase some of the work I've done around and promoting the crew and running in Joburg.
This photoset is an ongoing collection of shots from our routine Thursday and Saturday runs, shot mostly on my Canon 70D and Sigma 18-35mm f1.8,
*Note, the tag 'Bad X Braamfie' was coined by crew captain Netswa Ngwenya after the Braamfie Runners womens relay team won the inaugural HeriNight relay run at the Nike FTC in October 2017. It has since become part of Braamfie nomenclature when referred to any noteworthy crew achievements.
